Poster Research

A good poster is... readable, legible, well organized, succint, attractive.

Steps to take.

- choose a software to work in (we choose photoshop)

- chossing between 2 popular formats:

-a large format poster

- a multiple panel poster

Decide the main messege (keep it short & sweet)

"Never take anyone back to your place"

The poster layout has 2 aspects...

-you should put the most important messege in the centre top position followed by the top left, top right, bottom left and finish in the bottom right.

The poster title (The Morning After) should be your punch line!

- space is important, without it your reader has no visula pauses to think.

-Size of poster elemnts or the fonts can seve to emphasise the main points so choose carefully:

- font

- font size

- font colour

- make sure its clear & bold

- messege the photograph gives off
